Software, compared for people who have to choose one
Independent comparisons of the tools small businesses actually buy — written from published pricing, not from vendor decks.
What we do
Loistrofi compares business software for people who have to choose one and live with it. Not enterprise procurement — the plumber with four vans, the two-dentist practice, the person managing eleven rental units.
That buyer is badly served. Software vendors write for enterprises, review sites rank whoever pays most, and general tech publications never cover a category this specific. So the questions that actually matter — what does it really cost at five users, does it work offline in a basement, can I leave without losing my data — mostly go unanswered.
How we work
Every comparison starts from published pricing and documentation, not from vendor marketing copy. Where a price is not public, we say so rather than guessing — "contact sales" is itself useful information about a product.
We do not run sponsored comparisons, and no vendor sees an article before it publishes. If we get something wrong, we correct it on the page itself rather than quietly deleting it.
How our writing is produced
Loistrofi is a small, technology-assisted publication. Articles are drafted with the help of AI language models working from primary sources — vendor pricing pages, documentation, and public filings — and are published under the Loistrofi Editorial byline rather than under invented personal names.
We state that plainly rather than let readers discover it. Pricing and feature claims are the part most worth checking, so every article carries the date it was written; software pricing changes, and a comparison from last year can be wrong in a way that costs someone money.
How this is paid for
Advertising placed alongside the content. We currently have no affiliate arrangements with any vendor and earn nothing when you click through to one — every outbound link on this site is a plain link to a source. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed on the page itself, and it will not determine ranking or verdict.
