1. Information We Collect
Loistrofi does not ask you for any personal information. There is no account to create, no newsletter to join, and no form on this site that collects your details. The only way we hold anything about you is if you email us — in which case we hold that email. Like every website, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp) for each request; that is a function of serving the page, not something we collect or analyse.
2. How We Use Your Information
If you email us, we use your message to reply to you and nothing else. We do not sell, rent or share personal information with anyone. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not run any analytics product on this site at present. If that changes, this page will be updated before it happens, not after.
3. Advertising & Cookies
Loistrofi is applying to serve advertising through Google AdSense. Advertising is not live yet, and no advertising cookies are set on this site today. When it is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other sites, and this section will say so in the present tense. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time through Google's Ads Settings, and read how Google's partners use data at google.com/policies/privacy/partners.
4. Third-Party Services
This site is hosted on Vercel, and article images are served from Unsplash — loading a page therefore sends a request to those providers, which they log. Fonts are served from Google Fonts. We do not currently use Google Analytics or any other analytics product. Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing what it records.
5. Data Retention
We hold no database of visitors, so there is nothing to retain. Emails you send us are kept in our mailbox until they are no longer needed. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider under its own schedule and are not exported or analysed by us.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at metemackali@loistrofi.com. If you are in the EU, you also have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
7. Children's Privacy
Loistrofi is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our site. Your continued use of Loistrofi after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
